Hanna 2001 Cab

This Hanna has been mellowing out for a while down in Walt's Cellar. That's a good thing because I remember thinking this wine needed a few year. When I first tried it, I remember thinking that it was to rough of a wine. Well...that has changed. This wine has a great berry flavor that any wine lover would enjoy. Just the right blend of aged fruit and tannins. 2003 (I think that was when it was released) this wine would have been an easy "don't wast your money" wine (especially given this wine wasn't cheap either). Now, this actually is a great wine...almost hall of fame.
